What you save

Your account can hold room/storage names, item descriptions and quantities, photos/documents/receipts, manual budget and expense entries, names and amounts for lending, due dates and change history. Household addresses and bank connections are not required. Avoid uploading identity documents, card numbers, passwords or information you do not need for household organisation.

Where records are processed

Cloudflare provides hosting, the database and private file storage. WorkOS provides account sign-in, with the Google/Apple/email options currently configured for the development release. Home records belong to your signed-in account and are separate from your Business workspace. Household sharing is not enabled in this preview.

Optional photo identification

When you tick the sharing confirmation and press Identify, up to three selected item photos are sent to OpenAI to suggest a name, description and category. The app does not send your budget, loan history or document library with that request. Suggestions may be wrong: review and edit them before saving. Requests set API response storage off; that does not promise zero provider retention. See OpenAI’s privacy information. You can always enter an item manually.

Files and limits

Normal image uploads are resized and re-encoded in your browser before private upload. The preview accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP and PDF files up to 5 MB each, with 256 MiB and 1,000 files per Home. Up to 100 photo-identification attempts are allowed each month, subject to the app’s shared US$50 monthly AI budget and availability. A failed or interrupted attempt may still consume usage. These allowances are separate from the 50 free inventory-item records.

Exports and calendar files

Backups exports your records and file metadata as JSON, or an item list as CSV. Download files separately from Documents. JSON is not a full file archive or an automated restore service. Calendar export creates a file for you to import; it contains the selected reminder title/date and does not sync later changes. No bank transaction, repayment request, email to a borrower or calendar invitation is sent automatically.

Access, correction and removal

You can edit item information and export records. Repayments and item movements keep history; repayment corrections are separate entries. Self-service account deletion, full restore and shared-household controls are not available yet. For access or removal requests, contact admin@craterwd.com from your account email. Do not email identity documents unless a specific secure process is agreed. Operational recovery copies may retain prior data while a removal request is being handled; immediate deletion from every backup is not promised.

Preview and payments

Home starts with 50 item records free. The planned A$149/year unlimited-item upgrade is not connected, and using this preview does not start billing. Commercial launch terms and remaining production account/provider checks are still pending.
